The Senate Licensing, Occupations and Administrative Regulations Committee voted unanimously 9-0 in support of SB74, legislation that would fully enable a hybrid lottery game like EquiLottery to be made available in Kentucky. All members present voted in favor of the bill, including leaders of both major political parties.
“We are humbled by the support of senators from both sides of the aisle for SB74,” said EquiLottery CEO and inventor Brad Cummings. “It has always been our position that Kentucky would be a likely state to lead the way on this new innovation and the support from this committee is the first major step in making this a reality. Kentucky made a strong statement today in support of innovation and bringing the sport of horse racing towards new found relevance in the 21st century.”
