The National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS) will be holding its annual Winter Meeting in Miami from Jan. 5 – 7 at the Hyatt Regency Miami and this year will feature EquiLottery CEO Brad Cummings as a panelist for the Committee on Pari-Mutuel. This panel will be exploring trends and issues in the racing industry, including how potential pari-mutuel wagering on different sports may be an opportunity or threat for the operators of traditional pari-mutuel wagering on horses.
Cummings will be presenting his discussion on the appeals of EquiLottery to the Millennial Generation based on research conducted by Ipsos and guided by the insights of First The Trouser’s Ulli Applebaum. Other panelists will include Bill Fasy of Delaware Park, longtime legislator Steve Geller and equine attorney Laura (D’Angelo) Holoubek.
